The SPHT Organization is seeking a dynamic and dedicated woman to join our team as a Women’s Project Director. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key role in leading and managing our women’s empowerment initiatives, working alongside our founder to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Please note – all positions are self funding.
What You’ll Do:
- Project Leadership: Identify, design, and implement impactful projects that address the needs of women in our communities.
- Community Liaison: Build strong relationships with community partners to ensure projects are relevant and meet local needs.
- Training & Facilitation: Develop and deliver training workshops for women’s groups, equipping them with valuable skills and knowledge.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and project management processes.
- Budgeting & Fundraising: Assist with creating budgets, grant applications, and developing fundraising strategies.
- Volunteer Management: Help screen volunteer applications and oversee volunteer engagement.
- Communication & Outreach: Draft compelling content to promote our organization and volunteer opportunities.
- Research & Best Practices: Stay current on trends and best practices in women’s empowerment initiatives.
You’re the Ideal Candidate if You:
- Retired Christian women from 55+
- Can self fund
- Are available for a 3-month commitment to begin with (asap), extending to another 3 months(visitors pass) – Starting July 1st 2024
- Have Training & Facilitation skills
- Understand how procedures/policies/project and management systems work.
- Understands Budgeting & Fundraising
- Understand how to Communication & Outreach Research & Best Practices online(Stay current on trends and best practices in women’s empowerment initiatives).
- A strong Christian faith and a passion for empowering women.
- Proven leadership and management experience, ideally in a non-profit setting.
- A keen interest in mental health issues affecting women (a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working in women’s groups or facilitating training sessions (preferred).
- Computer literacy and familiarity with social media platforms.
Work Days and Times
- Flexible Work Arrangements – 3 Days a week until start of projects, then days change depending on when and length of projects.
- Where needed work remotely.
