Since 2022, this initiative has been self-funded and implemented in collaboration with local partners in Ngong and Korogosho. The program has reached thousands of individuals, building resilience and creating a sustainable impact through targeted training and community engagement.

This report provides an overview of the program’s key achievements and outlines the projected growth for the next five years.

The EmpowerHer: To Heal from Abuse and Overcome Depression program has been a cornerstone of my ministry since 2001, serving thousands of women through consistent and compassionate support.

Operating without external funding, this program has addressed an urgent and growing need in the community. As the demand continues to increase, it has become clear that sustaining and expanding this vital work requires substantial financial support.

This report outlines the historical impact of the program and the critical need for funding to reach even more women and their families in the years ahead.

Conclusion

As the need for mental health support among women grows, securing funding is now essential to sustain and expand the EmpowerHer program. With the right resources, we can scale our impact, reaching 600 women annually and extending support to their families.

By investing in this program, we can transform lives, build resilient communities, and ensure that no woman facing depression is left behind. This is more than just a program—it’s a lifeline that must continue to grow.
